PlayOnLinux – Synaptic
For a while I’ve seen error messages when running
apt-get update
At the start of the update it produces the following:
Err http://playonlinux.botux.net hardy Release.gpg
Could not resolve ‘playonlinux.botux.net’
Err http://playonlinux.botux.net hardy/main Translation-en_GB
Could not resolve ‘playonlinux.botux.net’
Then at the end gives these error messages
W: Failed to fetch http://playonlinux.botux.net/dists/hardy/Release.gpg
Could not resolve ‘playonlinux.botux.net’
W: Failed to fetch http://playonlinux.botux.net/dists/hardy/main/i18n/Translation-en_GB.bz2 Could not resolve ‘playonlinux.botux.
net’
W: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems
The solution was to edit the file
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/playonlinux.list
And just comment out the line,
deb http://playonlinux.botux.net/ hardy main

Just change playonlinux.botux by deb.mulx
