Making videogames for cash

Online at home again

Just got my internet connection set up again (since I moved house).

Ran a speed test which is sadly slower than last time, only 4.6MB download & 0.8MB up. Apparently I’m now 1848m away, whereas in Bristol I was only about 585m.

Oh well, that’s the way the cookie crumbles I guess. Still, it’s good to be back!

  1. Michaela is 716m away from her exchange, but gets worse rates than me:

    Date 01/03/08 17:03:14
    Speed Down 2077.12 Kbps ( 2 Mbps )
    Speed Up 355.76 Kbps ( 0.3 Mbps )
    Port 8095
    Server speedtest1.adslguide.org.uk

    But testing on http://speedtest.net/
Using the Maidenhead TranceFM server, we get
    3879 Kbps
    312 Kbps
