This piece dealt with Marshall McLuhan’s extension thesis, N. Katherine Hayles ideas about cyborgs and posthumans, and Bruno Latour’s work on Actor Network Theory, in relation to video games.

67% (Merit)
The Semiotics of WarioWare: Touched!

Mostly Barthian style semiotics, with some ANT and methodological reflexivity bolted on at the end.

I’ve just watched a Newsnight programme discussing the new Unicef report about kids quality of life throughout the developed world.

The UK came bottom of the list.

If I had kids I wouldn’t bring them up here. Holland just keeps looking better and better for so many reasons.
